Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair (2006)

Tarantino’s films are only ever about things that Tarantino thinks are cool (mostly other films). this one, for better and worse is the most transparent about that. Thankfully the main thing Tarantino thinks is cool here is Uma Thurman, she’s almost never off screen and is never less than fantastic throughout the 4+hours. It still feels like two films but alongside the small changes the second half of the story works better in proximity to the first.
