The Terminator (1984)

I'd forgotten how much future stuff there is in the film I think it foreshadows Cameron's later excesses (too much interest in 'world building') in what is otherwise a fantastically lean film. Maybe spend some time building the relationship between the two leads instead of telling us about what dogs do in the future?
